During my 29 year career in telecommunications, I was lucky enough to have many different job assignments spanning engineering, technical consulting and education, and international operations. In education and consulting, I discovered that what I really enjoy in life is learning and then sharing that knowledge with others. It is this desire to share what I have learned that has led me to be a Realtor.

 

After taking early retirement, my wife and I built what we call our dream home on Lake Keowee. We enjoy the lake lifestyle and find that looking at the water is very soothing and restorative. I was personally involved in the construction of our home, and after it was complete, I started a small real estate investment company focusing on lake properties. I have always enjoyed buying and selling property and have found that you meet some really nice people in the process.

 

As a Realtor, I focus on three market segments: lake properties, farms, and first-time home buyers. I am specializing in lake properties because I enjoy finding for others what I am enjoying myself. Also, farm property is an area of expertise. I grew up on a S.C. farm and currently own a farm in Oconee County with a small herd of Black Angus cattle. And, finally, I enjoy working with first time home buyers because it gives me the greatest opportunity to share what I have learned about real estate in a consultative way.
