Wendy Chiles
Licensed in SC
Wendy was born and raised far from the upstate of South Carolina, in the rolling farm country of western Oregon. It was there that she developed a passionate love of horses—Western pleasure, barrel racing, and even a stint as a race horse trainer.
But college would pull her away from horses, at least for awhile. Wendy graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor’s degree in nutrition. She then traveled to Birmingham, Alabama to perform a year of post-graduate training. Following her training she achieved licensing as a registered dietitian and worked as a Registered Dietitian with the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB).
Also at UAB, Wendy met her husband, Dr. Bill Chiles, and upon marriage, became a long-term Southerner. Upon completion of his medical training, Dr. Chiles’ followed a job opportunity to Seneca, South Carolina. Wendy took advantage of the move by renewing her love affair with horses. Together they purchased a small farm in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains where Wendy again began training and riding horses.
During her 15 years in South Carolina, Wendy fell in love with the mountains, streams and lakes of the beautiful upstate. She originally studied real estate as a means of investing in this lovely area. Now, you can take advantage of her knowledge and passion for this little piece of paradise. Whether you’re interested in mountain property, lake view or farmland, Wendy would be honored to help you and your family with any real estate transaction in the upstate of South Carolina.
